    Erik Habberstad

    Erik Habberstad, Dealer Principal of Habberstad BMW/MINI and Partner of Habberstad Collision, found his passion for performance vehicles at an early age. When Erik was just 4 years old, his father started an automotive business out of the Habberstad home and the family regularly received special deliveries of "Meyers MANX dune buggies" at their door. So in the 1990's, Erik seized the opportunity to take over the leadership role of Habberstad BMW from his father. Since Erik took the helm, Habberstad has continued to grow, becoming one of the largest pre-owned centers on Long Island and earning BMW's highest customer satisfaction ratings.

    Born and raised in Dix Hills, Erik has been dedicated member of the Huntington community for over 40 years. He greatly enjoys giving back to the community. Erik also loves spending time with his three children, riding around in his high performance vehicles, fishing, skiing, boating, and experiencing the exhilaration of the world of racecar driving.

    Derek Cesani, is the Certified Pre-Owned BMW Sales Manager at Habberstad BMW of Huntington. He has been a member of the Habberstad Auto Group Team for over 20 years. Throughout his tenure with BMW he has been honored numerous times receiving Profiles in Achievement Honors eight times since 1998, a Podium Platinum Level Award in 2008, and Grand Travel Awards six times over the last decade.

    Derek is a natural deal maker who sold two vehicles his first day of work at a dealership. He has not looked back since that day and truly enjoys working with customers and ensuring they drive off in their dream car. Derek thinks that Habberstad Auto Group is an incredible family-run dealership that provides its customers and employees with the support needed to get deals accomplished.     A dedicated member of the Habberstad BMW organization, Demetri Mirissis has been with the dealership for over 16 years. Constantly striving for excellence, he has earned numerous awards and titles acknowledging his skill and commitment to providing exceptional service. Demetri is a 7-time member of the BMW Profiles in Achievement "Regional Sales Council", an honor that is only given to the top 100 client advisors in the United States, and is one of the few BMW Master Client Advisors on Long Island. Demetri's passion for his work and extensive knowledge of the BMW Ultimate Driving Machine make him an indispensable member of Habberstad BMW staff.

    An avid performance driver, Demetri has won several racing victories and can be found instructing or club racing at various regional race tracks with the BMW Car Club of America, Porsche Club of America and the National Auto Sport Association. When he is not racing or selling cars, Demetri likes to spend time with his wife Maria and his son Dean. He is a proud father who boasts that his son is well on his way to heel-toe-double-clutch downshifting.

    Pete Mitchell joined Habberstad BMW's skilled team of service advisors in June of 2009. For over 11 years, Pete has dedicated himself to advancing within the automobile industry. After starting as an apprentice, Pete worked his way up to technician then earned his Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology Management. He believes that Habberstad BMW's focus on teamwork creates synergy throughout the dealership, making it a great place to work and do business. Pete is a car enthusiast. However, his main focus in and out of the workplace is helping people. Outside of the service shop, he enjoys going to the beach, riding his motorcycle, playing racquetball and hanging out with his friends. He owns golf clubs but isn't too sure if that makes him a golfer. Working on his house is another favorite thing to do.
